QUESTION: Councillor D. O'Donovan

"To ask the Chief Executive what is the longterm plan for the lands on St. Colmcilles Way where Knocklyon United have their club ground?"

REPLY:

The pitch on the land on St. Colmcilles Way is currently allocated to Knocklyon United FC under the annual pitch letting process.  KUFC also have the use of an additional temporary pitch at this location.

The lands in question are zoned F, the objective of which is to preserve and provide for Open Space and Recreational Amenities.

At this time the Council has no specific plans for the site.
