c)  Filling of Vacancy on the South Dublin County Joint Policing Committee following the Resignation Of Councillor F. Timmons From the Cttee. (Cllr. P. Gogarty)

REPLY:

The following report was presented to the Members at the Organisation, Procedure and Finance Committee Meeting held on 20th November 2014: 

“A vacancy exists on the South Dublin County Joint Policing Committee following Councillor Francis Timmons’ resignation from this Committee and it is a matter for the Council to nominate a replacement to fill the vacancy.

The Independent Grouping have indicated that they intend to nominate Councillor Paul Gogarty to fill the vacancy arising on the JPC.

This is now before the Members for their consideration.” End of Report to OPF.

It was proposed by Councillor G. O’Connell, seconded by Councillor F. Timmons and RESOLVED:

“That Councillor P. Gogarty be nominated to the South Dublin County Joint Policing Committee following the resignation of Councillor F. Timmons from the Committee.”

This matter is now before the Council for approval.
