MOTION NO. 9

MOTION: Councillor G. O'Connell

"That this Committee invite Dublin Bus to meet with members of the LAC to discuss (a) the extension of the 26 Bus to serve all of Palmerston and in so doing to provide a link between The Liffey Valley Town Centre and the Communities of Palmerston and Chapelizod and beyond and (b) the extension of the 40 Bus to serve Wheatfield Prison and Court House which are now some of the busiest in the Country and are not served by public transport leading to severe hardship for relatives and friends who wish to visit."

REPORT:

If the motion is approved a letter will issue to Dublin Bus inviting a representative to meet with this Committee and when a response is received the Committee will be notified accordingly.
