QUESTION: Councillor C. O'Connor

"To ask the Chief Executive to detail plans for the future development of Dodder Valley Park (Seskin View section) and will he also confirm if he intends to provide seating in that park?"

REPLY:

Work is continuing on the development of a cycle and walking route through Dodder Valley Park and it commences in this section of the park. The project will also result in the planting of an avenue of trees along the path as well as the enhancement of the walls facing onto the park by the planting of hedges.

There are separate plans to develop a Dressing Room complex in the park and which received the endorsement of the Council some years ago. The implementation of this project is dependent on the availability of the necessary finance.
