QUESTION: Councillor C. O'Connor

"To ask the Chief Executive to give details of contacts he has had with the HSE in respect of providing a site for a new nursing home in Tallaght and will he give details?"

REPLY:

The Council at its meeting held on 14th July 2014 approved the disposal of a site at Tymon North Road, Tallaght to the HSE to facilitate the provision of a community nursing home. Minute No H7b)0714 refers. The legal documents to transfer an interest in the lands to the HSE are being prepared at present.

The terms of the disposal require the HSE to apply for planning permission for the site within nine months of the date of the Council's approval.
