QUESTION: Councillor D. O'Donovan

"To ask the Chief Executive how many social housing units are included in the planning permission on the site recently sold on Stocking Lane, known as Dickie Rock’s Field?"

REPLY:

This site is referenced under Planning permission SD05A/0872 which provided for the development of 426 residential units. However this planning permission has expired and an application to extend the permission was refused in June 2012.

In the event that a further planning application is lodged for residential development on this site, it will be examined for application of all appropriate Part V compliance requirements in respect of the delivery of social housing units having regard to all prevailing legislative requirements at this time.
