MOTION: Councillor V. Casserly

"That this Area Committee asks the Chief Executive to develop and install Fairy Woods in the Lucan Area based on the success of such woods in neighbouring Corkagh Park and Tymon Park.

These have proved hugely popular in promoting children´s play and imagination as well as encouraging physical activity among the young families within the County."

REPORT: 

Following an examination of parks in the Lucan area it is proposed to install a fairy trail in Lucan Demesne along the riverside walk. Work will commence on the manufacturing of signs in November and it is envisaged that the walk will be installed before year end.
