QUESTION: Councillor L. O'Toole

"To ask the Chief Executive to install litter bins at Hermitage Park due to the ongoing litter problems and to ask if sponsorship of bin installation costs by local businesses would be acceptable to the County Council?"

REPLY:

There are 2 bins in Hermitage Park located at pedestrian entrances from Ballyowen estate and Hermitage estate. It is proposed to install an additional bin in the vicinity of the proposed playground site. The bin is currently on order and delivery is expected in October.

Should a business wish to sponsor a bin contact should be made with the Public Realm Section in the first instance where the proposal can be fully evaluated.
