QUESTION: Councillor J. Lahart

"To ask the Chief Executive if the Parks Department has agreed to clear away and provide topsoil to get the community garden at Willbrook Park up and running?"

REPLY:

Letters have been issued by the Council's Development Dept to the householders of numbers 2-14 Willbrook Park and 29 Ballyboden Road in April 2014 offering them the option of incorporating the portion of the laneway to the rear/side of their properties into their gardens subject to terms and conditions and restricting the land for gardening use only. Whilst some enquiries have been received to clarify the terms, the residents have not yet confirmed their acceptance of the proposal.
