MOTION: Councillor Brendan Ferron

“That this Committee calls on the Chief Executive to arrange for the immediate cleaning and cutting of the stretch of green space between Dominic’s Court and Avonbeg Drive as it is extremely unsightly and an area where illegal dumping is becoming more prevalent as it has been neglected by the Council. That the Manager further agrees to have this area placed on a regular cleansing schedule”.

REPORT:

The open spaces and grassed areas in the vicinity of Saint Dominic's Court and Homelawns are scheduled to be cut during the week commencing 1/9/14. This area was recently completely cleared of dumped materials by the Public Realm Section. Any further dumping found at this location will be removed in conjunction with the grass cutting operation later this week.
