MOTION NO. 5

MOTION: Councillor J. Lahart

"That this Committee requests that a pilot scheme designed to implement the litter by laws of this council be set up to include two villages in the area and two residential shopping areas."

REPORT:

The litter byelaws are in place since October 2013.

The Council welcomes suggested approach to implementing the litter byelaws and will arrange a campaign throughout the County to create awareness and subsequent enforcement. 

If the motion is passed a draft scheme including two villages and two residential shopping areas will be considered for inclusion in a County wide campaign.
