QUESTION: Councillor Francis Noel Duffy

"To ask the Chief Executive to take into consideration that some residents residing in South Dublin County Council are living and working near and/ close to Marlay Park,what degree, type and regulatory of consultation and cooperation, if any, takes place between Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council and South Dublin County Council in relation to the decision to permit the staging of concerts in Marlay Park?"

REPLY:

The Draft Licence for the concerts in 2014 was referred to South Dublin County Council by Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council for observation.

On the basis of the experience of the concerts in 2014 South Dublin County Council will make it clear to Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council the concerns of the Council and request that these concerns be addressed in any future licence.
