QUESTION: Councillor Brian Leech

"To ask the Chief Executive what is the long delay with the opening of the new astro-turf pitches behind the Tallaght Leisure Centre, and is it true there is an issue with the tender over the perimeter fencing?".

REPLY:

The construction of the new all weather pitches in Jobstown Park adjacent to Tallaght Leisure Centre is substantially complete. There are a number of issues that have to be resolved that will allow the facility to be opened and these are in the process of being resolved with the Contractor for the project.

The Elected Members will be updated on progress with the project
