QUESTION: Councillor Brian Leech

"To ask the Chief Executive for an an update on the long awaited park in Carrigmore and to explain what the hold up is and could the grass at least be cut?"

REPLY:

Work commenced on the development of Carrigmore Park on the 25th August 2014. This park is being constructed by the developers of the adjacent housing and shopping centre developments and as conditioned in the Planning Permissions received for them. It is expected that this work will be substantially complete by November 2014 but this is subject to suitable weather conditions. The Elected Members will be updated on progress with this project.
