QUESTION: Councillor Martina Genockey

"To request that the the Chief Executive gives on update on the necessary repair work on the boundary wall at the Swiftbrook estate. When can the residents expect the work to commence and when is it expected that it will be completed? Also will the agreed bushes be planted along the wall as soon as the repair work is finished?"

REPLY:

A number of meetings have been held with residents representatives in relation to the vandalism to the boundary wall and railing at Swiftbrook Estate. As a result of these meetings proposals on how to deal with the reinstatement of the wall in a sustainable manner have been produced. It is proposed to seek quotations for this work in the next two weeks. Both the residents and the Elected Members will be updated on progress on the issue.
