QUESTION: Councillor Martina Genockey

"To request that the Chief Executive gives an up-to-date report on the development of Carrigmore Park, on which work was due to begin in May, and also gives a new date on when work is expected to commence on the park and what role the council is playing in ensuring that this park is finally delivered for the area?"

REPLY:

Work commenced on the development of Carrigmore Park on the 25th August 2014. This park is being constructed by the developers of the adjacent housing and shopping centre developments and as conditioned in the Planning Permissions received for them. It is expected that this work will be substantially complete by November 2014 but this is subject to suitable weather conditions. The Elected Members will be updated on progress with this project.

A copy of the outline plan of the project is also attached with this reply
