QUESTION: Councillor E. Tuffy

To ask the Manager if he will indicate haw many owners of premises have sought information, eg a copy of the Design Guidelines, on the Shopfront Grant Scheme?

REPLY:

The Council undertook a number of events to publicise the Shop Front grant scheme, this included two evening external launches in the Spa Lucan 2nd April and the Maldron Tallaght 3rd April. The scheme was well publicised on the Council's web page, other Council social media platforms and by way of press release. Between the various promotion outlet, to date,  about 15 premises owners have sought and received information on this scheme. the Council continues to promote this scheme and will make additional efforts over the next number of weeks.
