QUESTION: Councillor E. Tuffy

To ask the Manager if he can advise how many commercial ratepayers have to date applied and been approved for the Rates Support Grant?

REPLY:

At the time of reporting 183 ratepayers are in the process of being approved for the Rates Support Grant. As part of actions being undertaken as part of the County profile survey the Chamber have  taken direct steps to improve the uptake of applicants. The Council is actively working with the Chamber to promote and facilitate this scheme.
