QUESTION NO. 4
QUESTION: Councillor B. Lawlor
"To ask the Manager to assess Parklands Ave Ballycullen as a suitable location for the inclusion of ramps with residents complaining about the high number of cars travelling at speed along this road.
REPLY:
Limited funding is available for the installation of traffic calming measures in 2014. Discussions have taken place with the relevant Area Committees with a view to selecting five/six roads in each of the Council's electoral areas. As with previous traffic calming schemes, the selection of individual roads will be a matter for the relevant Area Committee. We are awaiting the agreed list of locations for both the Tallaght Central and Tallaght South electoral areas.
