MOTION NO. 26

MOTION: Councillor E. Tuffy

"That this Committee notes the serious concerns expressed by many parents of current and prospective students of Lucan Community College about the inordinate delay in progressing the School Extension Building Project, and requests the Manger to write to the Minister for Education and Skills conveying the sentiments of the Lucan Area Committee, that the delays in progressing the project to the Planning Application Stage and thence to construction is unacceptable, and requesting the Minister to confirm that the process will be speeded up."

REPORT:

If the motion is approved a letter will issue to the Minister for Education and Skills conveying the sentiments of the Committee and when a response is received the Committee will be notified accordingly.
