MOTION: Councillor W. Lavelle

"That this Area Committee calls on the Manager to replace damaged and worn equipment at Griffeen Valley Park playground; and to generally enhance the attractiveness of the playground."

REPORT:

It is proposed to undertake an upgrade of the facilities in Griffeen Valley Play Space and which are currently in a poor state of repair.  This upgrade will be undertaken as part of the tendering process for the Play Spaces in the 2014 Play Space programme.  It is likely that this upgrade will take place in mid to late summer 2014.
