QUESTION: Councillor E. Tuffy

"To ask the Manager for a Report on the provision of dedicated bins for disposal of dog waste by responsible dog walkers in the Lucan EA?"

REPLY:

The Council provides and services approximately 650 litter bins on streets and in public parks throughout the county. All litter bins accept general waste including dog waste. There are no proposals, nor is it considered necessary,  to provide for separate provision for the collection of dog waste.
