Mayors Business
That this Council expresses its congratulations to the people of Clondalkin, and in particular the members of the Fairtrade Steering Committee and the pupils of Our Lady Queen of the Apostles in Clonburris, on securing Fairtrade status. In support of their ongoing work, this Council will seek to provide a range of Fairtrade products in its catering and shop facilities in Council buildings and amenities.
REPORT:
The Staff of the Corporate Performance and Change Management Unit work with the service providers of the Canteen and Coffee Shop, Compass Catering, to ensure that every option on products is available. Both the Canteen and Coffee Dock provide a range of Fairtrade products such as Fairtrade coffee and cereal bars. We will continue to promote the use of Fairtrade products.
