QUESTION: Councillor A.M. Dermody

"To ask the Manager for a progress report on the tendering process for works to the entrance of Knockcullen/Elkwood and Ashton estates?"

REPLY:

Work is progressing with the detailed design at present, establishing existing services (particularly underground) with relevant service providers. Construction drawings and a bill of quantities will be prepared. Tenders will be invited from the appropriate Framework Members included in the Council's Framework Agreement for Small / Minor Civil Engineering Works. It is expected that works will commence in May / June 2014, and will be complete within approximately two months thereafter.
