MOTION: Councillor W. Lavelle

"That this Area Committee: - Notes the concerns of parents of children enrolled in Kishogue Community College regarding the delays in the construction of the new school building and the planned use of temporary accommodation in Adamstown; - Further notes the concerns expressed by parents of children attending Adamstown Community College regarding issues of inconsistency and capacity affecting the morning Dublin Bus 25B service from Griffeen Avenue/Foxborough area to Adamstown; - CALLS on Dublin/Dun Laoghaire ETB to seek to put in place an effective school transport service from the Griffeen/Foxborough area to Adamstown to serve pupils attending both Adamstown Community College and the temporarily-located Kishogue Community College."

REPORT:

If the Motion is approved a letter will issue to the Dublin/Dun Laoghaire ETB and when a response is received the Committee will be notified accordingly.
