"That the Manager resolve the problem of the water supply of house 6 Butterfield Orchard. The resident has weak water pressure because their house is the last house on the feed. Could the house be swapped to his next door neighbours supply."

REPORT:

The water supply to this house was renewed in December 2010. At that time it was identified that there was an issue with low pressure in the general area.

A scheme was identified to upgrade the watermains and improve the pressures in the area but a source of funding was not identified.

Funding for such schemes is now the responsibility of Irish Water.

The SDCC leakage section has been requested to arrange inspections to identify any leaks which could have given rise to the reduced pressure affecting the resident.
