QUESTION NO. 2

QUESTION: Councillor W. Lavelle

To ask the Manager to seek to put in place a system with the National Roads Authority for the timely response to representations from elected members of this Council in relation to the maintenance of national primary roads in this County, including on matters of grass-cutting, litter cleansing and graffiti removal?

REPLY:

A system already exists wherby all representations from SDCC are sent to the NRA and these representations are subsequently sent to the NRA contractor GSJ or M50 Concession. 

If the question is approved the matter will be referred to the NRA and when a response is received the Councillor will be notified accordingly.
