QUESTION: Councillor E. Tuffy

To ask the Manager if he can advise Members on the expenditure by the Council on the refurbishment and repair of footpaths in South Dublin County in the three years 2011, 2012 and 2013?

REPLY:

A total of  €1,516,500 was spent in the years 2011, 2012 and 2013 as part of the Council's footpath refurbishment programme. A further €1,695,300 was spent as part our ordinary day to day maintenance expenditure in repairs to single bays and smaller areas of footpaths in the same period.
