The 2011 Census established the population of the South Dublin County as 265,205. A full breakdown of each electoral area can be determined by reference to CSO website at www cso.ie. The electorate of the County is 184,080. The Electorate per electoral area:
Lucan: 33,132
Clondalkin: 35,399
Rathfarnham: 30,181
Tallaght South: 25,464
Tallaght Central: 26,158
Templeogue –Terenure: 33,746.
