"That this Area Committee commends the Council Management for their good work in association with the Palmerstown Community Council to secure the former HSE premises in Manor Road for Community Use and to ask for an update on progress in making it available to the Community."

REPORT:

There were a number of issues to be resolved between SDCC and the HSE to allow a transfer of land and premises to go ahead in this case. The last of these issues have been resolved over the last few days and the next step is to finalise this in the form of a legal agreement between the Council and the HSE.
