MOTION: Councillor C. King

"That the Manager arrange for more frequent and rigorous cleansing of the footpath that runs adjacent to St Dominic's National School  leading to the Charlie O'Toole bridge and including the area around the bridge as it appears to be a wind trap that ensures large amounts of leaves and litter gather in the vicinity on a larger scale than regular areas".

REPORT:

The footpath at this location has recently been inspected and indeed requires litter picking and thorough cleaning. Arrangements will be made to schedule a clean up here during the week commencing 24/2/14.  More regular clean ups in this specific area will also be provided for as part of the public realm works schedule for the St. Dominics/Bolbrook area in the future.
