MOTION: Councillor C. King

" That this Committee calls on the Manager to remove the trees at 47 Knockmore Park and 31 Knockmore Crescent as residents are fearful of their stability and are concerned about the fact that their roots are damaging the footpaths and walls in their vicinity".

REPORT:

The trees located on the roadside margins at the addresses referred to in the motion are not included in the current tree works programme for the area. However the trees, footpaths and walls at each location will be inspected in conjunction with the residents living nearby and if appropriate they will be added to the current programme for removal within the next 2/3 weeks.
