"That the Manager bring a report into the (former) Chinese Take-away on Manor Road and especially if the owners/operators have met all their obligations under the terms of the Planning Permission and what options are open to the Council to pursues them for any breach including polluting the neighbourhood drains."

REPORT:

It is assumed that the Councillor is referring to No. 26, Manor Road, Palmerstown, Dublin 20 (The Dragon Palace Chinese Takeaway).

Planning Permission was granted on the 10th December 2004 by An Bord Pleanala under Register Reference SD04A/0250 (ABP Ref PL06S. 208418) for a Chineses Takeaway at the above location. The Planning Authority has received no recent complaints in relation to any breaches of planning permission at this address.

The issue referred to in relation to possible pollution of drains in the area has been referred to the Council's Environmental Health Section for their investigation and they will be in contact with you further in this regard.
