MOTION: Councillor T. Delaney

That this Committee expresses its concern that the many serious 'potholes' on the main routes around the village particularly New, Tower & Convent Roads have not been repaired adequately and calls on the manager to urgently address same with more permanent works.

REPORT:

Road overlay and repair schemes have been included in the 2014 Roadworks Programme for New Road and Convent / Tower Road. Tenders will shortly be advertised and the works will be carried out in early 2014. In the meantime, temporary repairs have been carried out on the potholes in question.
