MOTION NO. 16

MOTION: Councillor A.M. Dermody

"That the Manager carry out a survey of the roads and paths in the Fairways estate, with reports of potholes at or near **address supplied.  Where there is work required in the area to confirm as much and to provide a timeframe within which such works can be completed."

REPORT:

The area has been inspected. There are some areas of degraded road concrete slabs present on the roadway. Temporary repairs have been carried out on these location in the past. The area engineer has included in the 2014 Roadworks Programme for permanent repairs to be carried out to the road and footpaths. Tenders for this scheme and others are currently being prepared. It is anticipated that a contractor will be appointed in early summer 2014.
