QUESTION: Councillor J. Lahart

"To ask the Manager for a report regarding the Turner Greenhouse which is in the possession of the Council and what the position is regarding any plans for it - corporate memory in the Council (Dr Boylan - retired) will advise the Council regarding this?"

REPLY:

The Council is currently working with the OPW as part of the Village Improvement Plan for Rathfarnham.  The current discussions include consideration of the future use of the courtyard area under the control of the Council.  As part of the discussions consideration is being given to the incorporation of the Turner glasshouse, if appropriate, into the upgraded courtyard area.

The Elected Members will be kept informed of progress on the plans.
