QUESTION NO. 12
QUESTION: Councillor A.M. Dermody
"To ask the Manager to bring this Committee up to speed as to where matters are with regard to the pedestrian walkway along Edmondstown Road and Owendore River at/near Cloragh Mills Apartments. This issue was brought by me to this meeting back in October and the opening at that point was imminent?"
REPLY:
The report presented under Motion 8 of the October 2013 Rathfarnham Area Committee meeting read as follows;
The area referred to is part of the open space being developed as part of the permission for Cloragh Mills apartments. Whilst the work has progressed significantly it is not yet complete. It is expected that it will be completed shortly and offered to the Council for Taking in Charge.
There has been no progress in the completion of the open space since that time and the Council has been in contact with the developer to expedite the completion of the works as soon as possible.
