QUESTION NO. 1
QUESTION: Councillor B. Bonner
The Clondalkin Tidy Towns Group needs a location in the village to store it's tools and to hold meetings etc. This group is doing excellent work and needs the help of the council with this. To ask the Manager if space can be found in one of the buildings in the Clondalkin Village area to facilitate the Tidy Towns group in continuing their excellent work?
REPLY:
The Council acknowledges the excellent work of the Clondalkin Tidy Towns group and their contribution to both the physical and community development of the village. The Council has been in discussion with the group and have suggested some possible locations, none of which are suitable to the group. These locations include the building in the car park of the leisure centre and the car park of the Civic Offices which is not accessible at weekends or evenings. The Council will continue to examine all options available and will support the group if possible.
