Quarterly Anti- Social Statistics to end 3rd Quarter 2013

STATISITICAL ANALYSIS OF ANTI SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR IN THE TALLAGHT AREA
REPORT:
The table below provides statistical analysis of anti social activity in the Tallaght area on a quarterly basis. In the 3rd quarter of 2013, a total of 95 incidents of anti social behaviour was recorded and 491 actions were taken. In the 3rd quarter of 2013 there were 1022 working files countywide.

Please note that the South Dublin County Council Housing Clinic for Jobstown, Tallaght has now moved from the Mary Mercer Health Centre to the Jobstown Community Centre. This central location hopefully will be more accessible for all the residents of the Jobstown area. The Clinic takes place every Thursday at the Jobstown Community Centre, between 11.00 am and 12.00 noon
The Council's Housing Clinic for the MacUilliam area is now being held every 2nd Monday, with effect from 13th May, 2013 from 2.00pm to 3.00pm.
A Community Garda and an Allocations Support Officer will be in attendance at these Clinic's and will be available to discuss Housing and Estate issues; sign forms etc.
The Council, through the office of its Estate Management Team, also hosts weekly Housing Clinics at the following locations:

However people are invited to also report incidents of anti social behaviour through the following means – freephone 1800 200 245, telephone 414 9000, through the Customer Care system, by visiting County Hall or the Clondalkin Civic Centre.
Members of the public are encouraged to utilise these clinics and avenues for the purpose of discussing housing related matters including incidents of anti social behaviour in respect of which all such matters are treated with confidentiality. The clinics are attended by the Allocations Support Officer for the area and the local Community Garda.
Any complaints of Anti – Social behaviour will be dealt with in strict confidence. Anti – Social behaviour is any type of unacceptable behaviour that prevents people from enjoying a safe and peaceful existence in their home and/or community.
