QUESTION: Councillor A.M. Dermody

"To ask the Manager to confirm when the street sweeping is planned for Fonthill Abbey Estate and if not to include this estate in a regular sweep?"

REPLY:

Fonthill Abbey Estate is on the schedule. The sweeping and cleaning of housing estates  occurs at a frequency of four times per annum. The estate has been swept 4 times in 2013, the last sweep occuring in October.

Several houses in the estate front onto Ballyboden Road. The sweeping and cleaning of main roads occurs at a frequency of twelve times per annum and takes place on a monthly basis. The scheduled sweep of the Ballyboden Road is the 17th December.
