QUESTION: Councillor E. Tuffy
To ask the Manager if he will make a Report on the number of persons working with the Council at this time on the various Government initiated Job/Work Placement programmes (excluding TUS workers) and if he will give summary information on the types of work being undertaken by those on placements with the Council?
REPLY:
The following is the current position on Government initiated Job/Work Placement programmes:
Jobbridge – 2 Energy Officers
Working on Energy Management - as part of a team approach to determine the level of Energy usage in the Council and to further map this energy usage to determine the carbon baseline for the County including:
Jobbridge - 1 Communications Assistant
Working on South Dublin County Sports Partnership programmes and their objectives, administration of South Dublin County Sports Partnership website (Wordpress) and associated websites (Ramble Aid.ie) as well as social media channels (Facebook pages etc.) including:
Redundant Apprentice Placement Scheme – RAPS
The following are completing their apprenticeships with the Council:
2 plumbers
1 carpenter
1 bricklayer
