FILLING OF VACANCY ON ENVIRONMENT STRATEGIC POLICY COMMITTEE FOLLOWING RESIGNATION OF COUNCILLOR W. LAVELLE FROM THE SPC  (CLLR. M. DUFF)

The following report was presented to the Members at the Organisation, Procedure and Finance Committee Meeting held on 21^st November 2013:

'The following item was DEFERRED from the September 2013 OP& F meeting:

A vacancy exists on the Environment SPC following Councillor W. Lavelle's resignation from this committee and it is a matter for the Council to nominate a replacement to fill the vacancy. This is now before the Members for their consideration.   End of Report to OPF.

It was proposed by Councillor D. Looney, seconded by Councillor W. Lavelle and RESOLVED:

'That Councillor M. Duff be nominated to fill the vacancy on the Environment Strategic Policy Committee arising from the resignation of Councillor W. Lavelle from the SPC.'

This matter is now before the Council for approval.
