 Request for this motion to be discussed in committee at the next relevant area committee - not to be placed on the public agenda please.

That the Manager gives an update report on an ongoing basis to this Committee regarding the seizure of horses in the Brookfield and Fettercairn areas.

REPORT:

The Contractor, employed by South Dublin County Council, for the provision of a horse seizure service and horse pound facility has seized  a total of 273 horses to date in 2013 in the Council's administrative area.

From this total, 1 horse was seized in the *details supplied* area and 7 horses were seized in the *details supplied* area.
