QUESTION NO. 9
QUESTION: Councillor A.M. Dermody
"To ask the Manager if there is a maintenance programme/budget each year for repair/resurfacing of speed ramps: A number of repairs have been carried out which are very satisfactory. But we still have residents complaining about the ramps on Willow Bank Drive, these are deteriorating on the eastern side opposite the houses. The ramp at the junction of Marian Road and Orchardstown Ave is in need of urgent repairs also."
REPLY:
Ramp repairs are carried out under funding provided by the Department of Transport and SDCC own funds for the annual roadworks programme. The locations referred to have been included for consideration in the 2014 roadworks programme which is currently being compiled.
