MOTION: Councillor W. Lavelle

"That this Area Committee requests the Manager to proceed with installation of the pedestrian crossing at Esker Road, outside Finnstown Abbey, in line with the warrant  reached earlier this year; and noting that the planned Newcastle Road HGV restriction may result in additional HGV traffic using Esker Road at school times."

REPORT:

No source of funding has been identified for this work.  The matter will be examined in terms of the allocations for 2014.

In particular an application shall be made to the NTA.
