QUESTION: Councillor M. Duff

"To ask the Manager to make a report regarding the double yellow lines, located across the road from numbers 26 and 28 Brookmount Estate and indicate if they are now required, as the original cause of the parking difficulties, due to a tow truck and cars for repair, being parked on the public road, has now gone as the garage is closed down and residents who require additional visitor parking, are in fear of being fined?"

REPLY:

We recently put in the DYL's in question. If the source of the problem is, supposedly, no longer there, the Traffic Section will re-asses the location and determine whether or not there is need to burn the markings out.
