MOTION NO. 13

MOTION: Councillor P. Cosgrave

"That the Manager give a report on why there has been a delay in the reinstatement of the green area at Glenvara Park at the rear of Castlefield Park. The area was to be reinstated by the Bus lane contractor when they were finished. The area also acts as a flood plain for future flood prevention."

REPORT:

As part of the Ballycullen/Firhouse Quality bus corridor scheme the contractor was obliged to restore the green area at Glenvara Park to its original condition following the removal of the contractors compound. This has been carried out, however a final inspection is to be carried out shortly to determine if any additional measures are required.
