QUESTION NO. 11

QUESTION: Councillor J. Lahart

"To ask the manager to report on the status of planning application SD13A/0139 particularly with regard to demolition of outbuildings and to report on whether the house and outbuildings are protected structures?

REPLY:

The  house and outbuildings at Riversdale House are not protected structures under the current South Dublin County Development Plan. Notwithstanding this, additional information has been sought in relation to the development proposed under SD13A/0139, a key element of  which is the requirement for a suitable detailed architectural conservation report to include the various outbuildings, internal boundary walls, gate piers and iron gates. This is in order to allow for a full assessment of the implications of the proposed development to be made. The additional information request was sought on the 2nd of September last. The applicants have six months to respond. At the time of responding to this question the additional information request has not been responded to.
