QUESTION: Councillor M. Duff

To ask the Manager to please indicate if any reduction can be offered to Allotment holders in the County, who are on very low income and can offer evidence of same, and are finding it difficult to meet the annual fee of €120?

REPLY:

Reduced Allotment fees (50% reduction) are available to applicants whose sole income is one of the following;

• Job Seekers Allowance/ Benefit
• OAP Contributory/ Non Contributory
• One Parent Family
• Disability Allowance/ Benefit

It is not intended to extend the availability of reduced Allotment fees beyond these categories.
