QUESTION: Councillor A.M. Dermody
"To ask the Manager to access the need to replace the footpaths in the area of Orchardston and Willowbank Drive and in particular outside the house at (Address supplied) (new) and where the paths are found to be in need of repair. To ask if it is not the case already to add this path to the programme of works. To ask what budget allocation was earmarked for such works within our ward and what projects have been completed thus far and if there is any further path works planned for the rest of the year.
REPLY:
The paths referred to will be inspected and any necessary repairs will be added to the Area Engineer's works programme.
An amount of €450,000 was included in the 2013 Roadworks programme for footpath repairs in the County.
To date, footpath repairs have been carried out in Knocklyon Drive, Knocklyon Avenue, Knocklyon Green and Knocklyon Close, Washington Park and Rathfarnham Road.
